In the highly anticipated movie "Strike Back Season 5," we witness a thrilling Thai rescue action. The goal of the operation is to rescue Chloe Foster, the daughter of the British ambassador, and to assist Robin Foster (played by Tim McInnerny), a friend of Philip Locke (played by Robson Green). However, in order to complete the task, they must face a series of dangers and challenges.

The research team tracked down the compound where Chloe was being held, however during the raid The kidnappers escaped successfully. Intelligence shows that these kidnappers include former kidnappers Ray McQueen (played by Max Beasley), Michael Stonebridge (played by Philip Winchester), Damian Scott (played by Sue... Living Stapleton) and Julia Richmond (Michelle Lucas). In order to track their whereabouts, Stonebridge and Scott went deep into the nightclub, and also arranged for a tracker.

However, soon McQueen realized that she was being followed, Chloe once again try to escape. In the meantime, he contacts local gangs, delivering armed bombs in an attempt to negotiate the British embassy. With time running out, Scott and Stonebridge must find McQueen quickly while dealing with the threat of local gangs.

After a fierce fight and chase, they finally rescued Crowe Yi, and arrested McQueen. Locke, however, was unable to prevent Foster from sacrificing himself before the bomb exploded. The operation also revealed a larger conspiracy involving North Korea.
