《猫妖》是由亚当的麦克唐指导恐怖电影。在2017年与加拿大首映，整个影片讲述的是一个少女举行一个神秘的宗教仪式，通过在仪式当中召唤来自于异次元的女巫想要杀害自己母亲，经过仪式的召唤。这个女孩召唤出了一只猫妖，通过少女与猫妖之间的活动，逐渐揭露出少女为何要杀死自己的母亲

整部影剧围绕少女父亲去世之后，母亲没有与自己女儿商量选择搬家离去，导致故事女主非常生气，想要诅咒自己的母亲去死，使用自己书中看到的召唤仪式，召唤出的猫妖，经过故事剧情的发展，被邪恶仪式召唤猫妖附体的母亲逐渐作祟。通过不断的去扰乱女主的心志，给女主造成一些情绪上的混淆，让女主烧死自己的母亲最终完成许愿。最终在影片结束之后，女主才发现所有的灵异事件和魔鬼追她的事情都是自己幻想出来的。
